Under the Contemporary Music and Light Music Sector Contract signed on 1st September 2017, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the National Center for Songs, Popular Music and Jazz and the State have created an innovative Fund, endowed with €280,000 aimed at helping the operators of contemporary music and popular music of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in the mutations they may encounter.
One of the goals of this Nouvelle-Aquitaine Innovative Fund is to experiment a common public policy relying on the implementation of calls for projects with regional operators.
Three calls for projects have been launched in 2017:
- Developing professional cooperations
- Support for structuring labels
- Digital development and new usages
The LABORIE Label has been a successful candidate for the last two calls for projects above: “Support for structuring labels” and “Digital development and new usages”.
